| YES! We are now open to the public. While most people purchase us online, more and more are stopping by our bakeryLOFT. We are a unique boutique bakery in Manhattan. We are located on the THIRD FLOOR of a landmark building on 20th street between 5th & 6th avenues. Our hours change from week to week, so please check our home page for our current schedule. In our eclectic LOFT space we have our entire bakery product line ready to be purchased. We love meeting people from all over the planet and we invite you to come pick out your favorite flavors of cookies, brownies and blondies. can I buy your products in my area? |
| Most
retail stores that carry our products are on the East
Coast. New York City is saturated with cafes, natural
food stores and fitness gyms that carry our products.
If you live in California, Connecticut, Florida and Texas,
check out our links page to see if there is a retail store
that sells the Protein Bakery near your home. Still, the
best way to get our cookies and brownies is here, online. |

long will it take to receive my order? |
| We
get our freshest products to you as soon as possible.
Generally orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours. |

my gift have a receipt? |
| Any
order that is sent to a third party does not include an
invoice. If you order a gift, your confirmation email
is your receipt. |

| How do I include a gift message? |

| Wheat-Free!
Does that mean Gluten-Free? |
| No.
We are not Gluten-Free. We grind the finest rolled oats
into flour to make our products wheat free and higher
in dietary fiber. |

| Why
not Fat-Free? |
| Fat
free products usually taste like the box they come in.
In addition to adding balance to our cookies and brownies,
taste has always been a top priority. We have found that
when something is fat free, people eat double the amount.
The added whey protein helps fill you up, so you don’t
feel like eating more and more. Remember balance is the
key. |

long do your products last? |
| Our
products have no preservatives. They will last two to
two and a half weeks from when they are sent out. |

| Can
I freeze your cookies & brownies? |
| Yes.
We suggest in addition to keeping them in their packaging,
placing them in zip-lock bag when freezing. Frozen, they
can last up to 3 months. |

| Is
my credit card safe online? |
| Yes.
We have a very secure website. In three years of business
we have never had a problem. We do not even see your card
number. If we need to credit your account, we will need
to get the card number from you, over the phone. |

you have a catalogue? |
| We
do not have a mail catalogue. Our website is our catalogue. |

| How
does The Protein Bakery give back to the community? |
| On
a weekly basis we donate cookies and brownies to the City
Harvest program in New York City. We have done this since
our first month in business in 1999. The only exception
to this was after September 11th. The founder of The Protein
Bakery ran the hot food service on Monday's in St. Paul's
Chapel at Ground Zero. Aside from overseeing the hot food
served, he brought down hundreds of cookies and brownies
for the people performing the search and rescue effort.
The Protein Bakery has also donated product to fund-raisers
for breast cancer, HIV, local children's schools and battered
women shelters. |
